Rock Sound is one of the least populated places on the island. It has a small airport that serves the southern part of the island. The village wakes up on Tuesday when the mail-boat from Nassau docks and leaves for the capital the same day. Nearby is the inland lake of Ocean Hole, extremely deep and connected to the sea by tunnels. It is a pleasant place to swim in the middle of multicolored fish. On the way down to Cotton Bay, you can even play golf on the Robert Trent Jones course or simply enjoy the spectacular views from this golf course at the end of the world. St Luke's, a beautiful Anglican church is worth a visit.
