Huge pousada on the heights of Santa Luzia Mountain with a superb view, swimming pool, gardens and high-walled rooms.
This huge and exceptional pousada is located on the heights of the Santa Luzia mountain, near Viana do Castelo. The panorama is wonderful and one could come here only for the view. Which would be a pity because the interior, luxurious, 1930's style, is also a success. The rooms, with high walls, call for relaxation and have kept their bourgeois decoration. After lunch in the restaurant, the gardens invite you to take a nap or to swim in the pool.

A hotel that overlooks the city and Minho
Grand Hotel typically beginning of the past century, with stunning views over the city, Minho and the mouth of the Atlantic. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, the very decent buffet breakfast. Friendly and cordial service.

A surprising view over the town and, even as you do not stay to sleep in the hotel, if you go has Viana return to enjoy a drink in the hotel bar and disfruter of the view.

l’hôtel est ancien, vieille époque, un peu oublié par le temps, mais l’accueil est chaleureux et il vaut le détour!
La cuisine du restaurant est inventive et on a eu même un verre de vin offert par le maitre d’hôtel!
