The Torre de Centum Cellas, set back from Belmonte, is an enigmatic, well-preserved Roman structure dating from the 1st century. Built of granite, it rises to a height of 12 metres. Its exact use remains uncertain: Roman villa, temple, military post, prison? A small interpretation center at the entrance explores these various hypotheses. The site is protected by gates, but remains accessible to visitors. You can observe it perfectly without getting too close. Can you unravel the mystery of this tower?
