This area offers a nice walk with the feeling of being in the Orient.

This is the largest preserved Moorish quarter in Portugal. It's concentrated around four streets to the south of Moura Castle. Much narrower than the other streets, as in a medina, you won't want to miss them. They are very lively during the day, as the district is always popular and busy. The small Arab museum on Largo da Mouraria is well worth a visit. It's a lovely walk with the feeling of being in the Orient.
