Notre-Dame de la Conception chapel in Loulé, hiding a number of treasures, including magnificent azulejos and a splendid gilded wooden altarpiece.

This beautiful chapel dates from the second half of the 17th century and is dedicated to the patron saint of Portugal, Our Lady of the Conception. It was built at the request of the king after the reconquest of the independence in 1640. From the outside, the building seems sober and without much interest, but it hides some treasures, once crossed the door step.
