Calçadinha Welcome and Explanatory Center, with part of the heritage of São Bras d'Alportel, offering guided tours.

The Calçadinha Explanatory and Visitors Centre was established in 2007 in the former municipal slaughterhouse, which was completely renovated for the occasion. This beautiful space presents part of the archaeological and historical heritage of São Bras and serves as a starting point to explore an ancient Roman road of 1,480 m, which has been converted into a real archaeological trail. Guided tours are available for groups of at least 6 people. Tourist information on the area is also provided by the centre's staff.
