The route of Calçadinha, an ancient paved Roman road, originally connected Ossonoba (Faro) to Pax Iulia (Beja). It runs for a total length of 1,480 metres, crossing a small valley inserted in the south that overlooks a higher area where the Igreja Matriz is located. At present, two sections, called A and B, are still in a good state of conservation and the slabs and paving stones show signs of renovation at different times.
