Visit Mont Pinçon, the highest point in Calvados, with its radio transmitter and wooded moors.
The highest point of Calvados (365 m), Mount Pinçon is home to the famous radio and television transmitter that covers all of Lower Normandy. An interpretation trail starting from the village of Plessis-Grimoult allows you to discover and understand the strategic interest of the place during the battle of August 5, 6 and 7, 1944. Nature lovers will also find something to do by walking among the wooded moors that have earned Mount Pinçon its reputation as a remarkable natural area. Don't forget your camera: from the summit, the panorama is breathtaking.
