TAKHT-E-SAFAR HILL

This hill offers a superb view of the entire city and the surrounding scenery. It is here that the inhabitants of Hérât contemplate the sunset and picnic on Friday. The garden was designed under Sultan Baïqara in the th century. Very well maintained, this is an oasis of greenery.

There is a mini park of attraction for children and, at the top of the hill, the "guesthouse of the governor", which is not open to the public.
