Comfortable guest rooms in an old restored building, keeping their authentic character.

Situated 35 m from the sea, in an old building restored by the owners, these guest rooms have retained their authentic character. All rooms are comfortable and have a kitchenette. An extensive breakfast includes a platter of fine Normandy cheeses. Last but not least, the owners have taken the opportunity to exhibit their collection of Second World War aircraft. The establishment has a second address in a manor house with six rooms, including two suites.

Wow what an amazing Hotel can’t say enough about everything our room suite A1 was fabulous the breakfast was fabulous everything in the hotel all the memorabilia was out of this world if you are into WW2 and the D Day Landings it’s a must and owner Paul in a walking encyclopaedia and so friendly and helpful we loved Hunter the dog as well. Thanks for an amazing stay our 8 year old Grandson can’t stop talking about it.

Our experience with Aviators D Day hotel was very bad. We had lost our communications during our travel and we were late. There was no way to contact the hotel. The owner was very rude and would not give us the room that we had prepaid for. There is nothing in the agreement that says that if you are late, you forfeit your room. Especially for the two nights that we had paid for. And from what I am seeing is she canceled the two nights and has kept the money. We found ourselves driving back to Caen to find a room. The Hotel Brit was very nice to us. I am a college professor and former aerospace engineer. My wife is a president of our local Rotary international club. Rotary international is a world wide public service group that is credited with ending polio. In all of the places that we have traveled in the world, never has an inn keeper treated us so cruelly. In fact my wife has some medical issues that this experience could have sent her to the hospital. We were on holiday and connecting with the French motocross riders that I have sponsored in the United States for the past eight years. I was also hoping to be able to recommend the hotel to members in the aircraft community here in the United States. My relationship with the French people has always been wonderful and full of love. I can certainly say that this was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had. My French friends are disappointed and saddened by this. I am as well.

Wow what an amazing stay. Whether you enjoy aviation or not you will have an incredible stay. Paul and Florence made us so incredibly welcome. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and the museum has a great location. ||If you are into aviation or WW2 history you will have a ball. Where else can you have breakfast next to a C47 Dakota cockpit? Blown away!
