Petit Futé's opinion on THE LODGE
A practical accommodation solution if you want to extend your stay. This establishment was designed for expatriates seeking relaxation, 6 km from Istalif and 1 km from the last village, Mazar-e-Mitalam, in the northern part of the Istalif valley. The hotel or rather the "lodge", as the owners prefer, is not accessible by car. A 15 minute walk from the village. Beautiful strolls (and picnics near the river) are possible around the hotel. The three rooms are basic but comfortable. Electricity and hot water. Breakfast and dinner included in the price. Green tea at will. The Lodge is intended for groups, but also for individuals. Beware, unmarried men and women cannot sleep together…

3 rooms. Decreasing price depending on the number of people to occupy a room. US$80 if you are alone, US$45 if you are 8. US$100 for a married couple with children.
