Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography with a collection of ancient and prehistoric remains and activities.

Created in 1974 after the Revolution, it was opened to the public in 1976. The Romans founded Setúbal in the5th century, just after an earthquake destroyed Cetóbriga (Tróia), their fishing port. On display is a collection of ancient and prehistoric remains, as well as a section devoted to the ethnography and lifestyles of the region. Occasional activities and temporary exhibitions are announced on their blog and website.
