MOSAE FORUM

It is a set of new buildings located between the Markt square and the Meuse river and whose construction lasted more than 5 years. This construction, more than 15 years old, gathers offices (those of the city hall in particular), stores, restaurants and a parking lot. The two architects in charge of the project, the Dutchman Jo Coenen and the Belgian Bruno Albert, aimed to rehabilitate the banks of the Meuse and to create an economic and architectural link between the old and the new city. Note the beautiful and huge wooden umbrellas.
