CARNAVAL DE MAASTRICHT

It is often said that the people of the Netherlands are reserved and always in control... To disprove this image, we have a major event that will show them in a different light! We are of course talking about the Carnival that is celebrated in the south of the country, the historically Catholic areas. We can mention for example the one in Maastricht and the cities in the south of the Netherlands. They have nothing to envy to the famous carnival of Cologne across the Rhine. The atmosphere is wild and drunk and it is for many the occasion to get out their beautiful costumes.
