AU MOUTON BLANC

A very pleasant café set up in the quarters of Maastricht's very first town hall (the building dates back to the ^13th century). It's a little dark in here, but the ideal place to stop off before continuing your shopping, or to take refuge in the warmth of the stormy weather. The setting is elegant and the history of the place is evident throughout. It's a great place to spend evenings, some of them wild. And to think that a guillotine once stood opposite this town hall! The setting has recently been brought up to date. A great success.
