A beautiful neoclassical building in Groningen, with imposing sculptures of Neptune

Superb neoclassical building, Korenbeurs now houses a supermarket. However, you have to go there and admire the superb architecture. The façade built between 1862 and 1865 replaced two other more modest façades. Note the imposing sculptures of Neptune, Ceres and Mercury. Inside, admire the imposing steel structure and the magnificent glass roof. This is probably the most unlikely location for Albert Heijn in the Netherlands.
