HUIZE TAVENIER

Superb Jugendstil building, Huize Tavenier is close to the station. The house is distinguished by its very elaborate style and the richness of the materials used. The architect, A. Th. Van Elmpt drew his inspiration from Europe (notably Germany, Italy and France). Each facade is unique and asymmetrical, we note the presence of very successful mosaic paintings.
