HÔTEL CORPS DE GARDE

The historic Corps de Garde Inn is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the city. Built in the 13th century, the current building was part of the city walls. At the beginning of the 17th century, these walls were demolished because they were getting in the way of Groningen's expansion plans. In 1991 the building was converted into a hotel. Completely modernized in cooperation with the famous interior designer Bart Vos, the former Guardhouse has 19 rooms that are both very contemporary and classic, very colorful, a perfect combination of old and new.
