The best restaurants Zaandam

Technically, this brasserie-restaurant is located in the neighboring municipality of Zaandam called Zaandijk, but it's all so close. The place is large and pleasant. The shaded terrace will be welcoming on hot days. The interior is more raw and trendy. The menu features beer, brewed a few meters away in the brewery of the same name. The menu is varied, with burgers featuring a wide range of meats, as well as finger food and delicious sandwiches.

It was on a lovely June evening that we discovered this chain (also known in Amsterdam). The place, on a charming square, is very pleasant. You can eat on the terrace overlooking the historic statue of Tsar Peter the Great. The menu offers succulent pizzas with a thin, crispy crust, just as you'd expect. Beforehand, you'll want to try the antipasti, which are excellent. For dessert, we opted for a Sgroppino, a cocktail made with lemon ice, limoncello, prosecco and vodka. A real delight.
