Here, if you close your eyes, you'll think you're in Ibiza or Bali, whichever you prefer. In any case, not in the Netherlands! Ubuntu is a superb address where you can spend an exceptional evening under the sun, savoring inspired cuisine (lots of fish). Prices are quite high, but the setting is so pleasant (and photogenic) that you'll forget about them, for one evening anyway. The beach swing is a hit with young and old alike. The place is also a furniture brand, so you can recreate the atmosphere at home by visiting the warehouse.

Probably our favorite address in Zandvoort, it's unpretentious and perfect. You'll find yourself in a small house, carefully decorated with little cushions and so on. The menu focuses on organic and healthy food. It's hard to choose... crêpes, croque-monsieur, salads... Don't forget the classic sandwiches like the mozzarella gratin. We've also fallen for the amazing pink-colored bread and succulent desserts. Service is very attentive, so don't hesitate to tell them about your allergies and preferences.

Here's a typical example of one of Zandvoort's beach restaurants: this one is Australian-inspired. The à la carte cuisine celebrates shared dining, dishes to be shared with guests for a warm meal. The atmosphere is just as woodsy inside as it is outside, with guests enjoying the warm weather on huge white sofas. It's the perfect place to spend a day on the beach. From here, you can set off for a surf or SUP lesson. Two hours later, the snack will be all the better.

If you can come here and enjoy the interesting menu rich in tasty dishes like burgers and salads at lunchtime and dishes to share and world cuisine. But the secret of this place is that it is a spot for surfers and yogis. So you can book your classes and go for yoga on the beach at the crack of dawn. If you're lucky, the weather will be nice and you'll have to watch out for the sun. If not you can warm up with a hot chocolate.

If the weather's not so kind, you can sit around the fire indoors. We particularly like the pretty terrace with its exotic parasols. It's sure to be a hot summer.
