This port, which was once part of the city of Delft (its name means Port of Delft), has been an integral part of Rotterdam since 1886. Located southwest of the city center, it is appreciated for the charm of its basin, the Voorhaven, lined with warehouses and old buildings spared by the bombings of the Second World War. Officially a district of Rotterdam, Delfshaven has over 75,000 inhabitants. This district was spared by the bombings and is therefore the historical and traditional guarantee of the second Dutch city.

Une vision du Rotterdam d'avant
Un reste de quartier qui a survécu aux bombardements sur l'épaisseur d'un pâté de maisons. Il n'y a pas de quoi y passer des heures mais c'est mignon et un excellent lieu pour se poser et prendre un verre.

Une très chouette balade
Ce port est ancien, très contrastant avec le reste de la ville de Rotterdam mais où l'on retrouve aisément le charme typique des Pays-Bas !

Lorsque vous venez à Rotterdam ne vous attendez pas à retrouver des similitudes avec Amsterdam. Toutefois, Delshaven est le seul endroit très ancien et typique de la ville ou vous retrouverez de l'eau, de vieilles bâtisses et un moulin !!!
