Futuristic looking tower that offers an exceptional panorama of Rotterdam and its surroundings
This futuristic-looking tower, the work of architect H.-A. Maaskant, has symbolized the rebirth of the city since 1960 after the destruction of World War II, and offers the grandiose spectacle of an exceptional panorama of Rotterdam and its surroundings. Originally 107 meters high and 9 meters in diameter, it was raised to a height of 185 meters. It is possible to continue the experience by going up in the Euroscoop, a rotating platform that will make you fly over the city. Quite incredible if you are not afraid of heights.

Le meilleur endroit pour avoir une vue panoramique sur la ville. J'y suis allée en fin de journée et le coucher de soleil a rendu la vue encore plus magnifique.

La vue est sensationnelle car complètement circulaire , la tour culmine quand même à 100 m d'altitude. Avec un côté tour futuriste c'est plaisant à faire. Cependant, une dizaine d'euros la monté, c'est quand même onéreux surtout qu'il n'y a pas vraiment d'explication sur le panorama. De plus il n'y a rien d'autre à faire dans le coin donc ce n'est pas sûr que le déplacement vaille le coup sauf si vous aimer prendre des photos d'altitude.
The tower is not very high and the panorama, although magnificent on the city does not bring one more: the buildings you see are visible from the docks, bridges are seen everywhere, the port of Rotterdam is too far to see from the tower. The tower has a small attraction, it is a circular lift around the matt that offers the funny ones of feelings, see the void under our feet and depressing jolts, but there is not bad queue to enter here as the capacity is thus limited patience!
