Rotterdam has more than just beautiful, sleek design cafes, and the proof is in Oude Sluis (Old Lock). This is a beautiful brown cafe in the typical and historic district of Delfshaven. Built in 1912 on the foundations of Delfshaven's first lock, it is authentic and attracts an eclectic crowd of students, artists and locals. The café has beautiful wooden sculptures and a very nice terrace. The choice of beers is enormous! Concerts and musical evenings are organized there regularly.
