De machinist is the name of this huge building that was renovated a few years ago and serves as a cultural and hotel complex. The building, which used to house the school of the navy and transport, has been well preserved and there are many references to the past. The place is a place of various meetings and contains a cinema, an auditorium, a bar-restaurant but also many workshops and offices as well as a nursery! The cuisine is European with many classic Dutch dishes. An atypical and endearing place.
