MUSEUMPLEIN
Museum that makes a point of convergence of several districts of Amsterdam, theater of soccer matches and swimming pool in summer.
Museumplein, as its name suggests, is the cultural heart of Amsterdam, home to the city's most emblematic museums: the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum. This vast, leafy esplanade links several of the city's districts and is a veritable meeting point. In summer, it comes alive with impromptu soccer matches and moments of relaxation on the grass. In winter, an ice rink replaces the grass. A pleasant place, it can be very busy, but remains a must for relaxing or getting together with friends.
