OOSTERPARK
Petit Futé's opinion on OOSTERPARK

The Oosterpark owes its reputation to its former status as a meeting place for the young sixty-eight year olds from the surrounding area. This 12-hectare park, which is less gentrified than the Vondelpark, attracts certain so-called marginal populations at nightfall, imbuing the park with an alternative spirit with strong natural narcotic odours. This green space has recently been tastefully renovated. Note the beautiful monument dedicated to slavery by Erwin de Vries. This monument is divided into three parts: past, present and future. A reference!
