Visit the site and discover a bronze reproduction of the 64 wagons.

On 16 December 1838, Andries Pretorius, its 530 men and 64 trolleys failed a Zulu army. Legend sheet: 3 000 Zulu killed against 4 Boer. December 16, formerly Promise day, was transformed into 1994 on Reconciliation day. The site is visited with a bronze reproduction of the 64 trolleys. For the Afrikaners, it is a place of worship. Nearby, the Ncome Museum (-16 am) presents history, the Zulu side.
