GERTRUDE POSEL GALLERY

One of the galleries at the University of Witwatersrand, the best known. Collections of collections from southern, central and west Africa, including traditional crafts and photographs, many of which are donations, such as the Schlesinger collection which counts paintings by Irma Tern and Pierne, two major local artists. This gallery holds the Sowetan Collection, 300 works by Gerald Sekoto.
