In downtown Johannesburg, the Standard Bank Gallery is once again a fine exhibition venue. An exciting collection of well-known European and South African artists such as Irma Stern, Gerard Sekoto, William Kentridge, Thomas Baines and Cyprian Shilakoe, as well as creative and, above all, gifted young artists. The African art collection includes 5,000 pieces of carved wood: local musical instruments, ritual and customary objects, African masks and figurines... Not to be missed!
