A popular park with boat trips on the lake, swimming pool, tennis courts and music festivals.

Part of the popular Hermann Eckstein Park, Zoo Lake is popular for its boat trips on the lake, swimming pool, tennis courts and music festivals, including the very popular Jazz on the Lake. It's a great place to take a stroll on a sunny Sunday afternoon and enjoy a cup of tea under the trees. On the first weekend of the month, over a hundred contemporary artists, paintings, sculptures, ceramics and pottery are exhibited in the Artist under the sun gallery (www.artunderthesun.co.za), in the park.
