A museum of massive architecture dedicated to events linked to Hô Chi Minh's life, both at home and abroad.
A large museum, located behind the mausoleum, whose construction began on 31 August 1985 and which was inaugurated on 19 May 1990, on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the President's birth. The massive architecture is reminiscent of that of the mausoleum. According to official indications, it is supposed to evoke the grace of a white lotus, a flower which in this setting should symbolize the nobility of the character of President Ho Chi Minh. The museum is dedicated to the events linked to Ho's life, both at home and abroad.

J'ai été très déçue par ce musée. Vous y rentrez sans savoir qui est Ho-Chi-Minh, et vous ressortez avec la même impression. Le musée expose principales des objets: des vêtements qu'il a porté ou encore des stylos qu'il a utilisé pour signer tel ou tel accord et quelques photos de visites qu'il a effectuée dans des écoles ou autres. Mais vous n'y apprenez rien sur sa biographie, le déroulement chronologique de sa vie, les étapes importantes ni ses principales actions. Dommage...

Set in a building has architecture ex the USSR it is a museum without much interest. Moreover, most explanations is in Vietnamese therefore without a guide is a bit dark. Better the uncle Ho one is better go to learn more about the man.
