This pagoda, marked by a 15 m-high stupa, stands on a peninsula and is considered Hanoi's oldest.

Marked by a 15 m high brick tower (stupa), consisting of 11 floors, the pagoda is located on a peninsula projecting into the western lake. The original cult, located on the bank of the Red River, dates back to the 6th century. The pagoda was then called Khai Quoc ("the foundation of the kingdom"). It was moved to the Kim Ngu ("Golden Fish") islet on its present location in 1615 due to a landslide and renamed Tran Quoc, "the defence of the Kingdom". Because of its origin, this pagoda is considered the oldest in Hanoi.

Entrée gratuite. Petite pagode sur les berges du lac de l'ouest. Très bien entretenue. La visite prend peu de temps. pour les marcheurs, en profiter pour faire le tour du lac à pied.

C'est l'endroit que je préfère à Hanoî. Il est excentré de la ville mais il vaut vraiment le détour. A la nuit, la pagode est encore plus belle !

Un peu excentré du centre de la ville, je vous conseille d'y aller au couché du soleil. Vous aurez une vue superbe avec le lac et vous verrez tous les vietnamiens y sont pour prendre des photos. Le spectacle vaut de le détour. La pagode est plutôt originale et très calme. J'ai passé un bon moment là bas.

Située au bord du lac de l'oest, la pagode de Tran Quoc est le plus ancienne pagode de Hanoi. Vraiment très jolie, sa visite vaut le detour.
