Twelve kilometers from the Portuguese border, it preserves an important megalithic heritage, with about forty dolmens counted in the surroundings. The fountains and orange groves underline the elegance of its gothic quarter. Since the beginning of the 19th century, on May1st, straw dolls dressed in old clothes are brought out into the street with a sign on which are written the criticisms of the past year. On the 15th of the same month, the San Isidro procession takes place with floats, typical costumes and decorated horses.
