Housed in a typical perched house, this contemporary and elegant restaurant offers a splendid view of the Hoz del Huécar, both from its lounges with large windows and from its terrace. And if the setting is really superb, you can also enjoy excellent cuisine, which has won numerous gastronomic awards, and which gives pride of place to the specialities of the region. Roast suckling pig, shoulder of lamb, fried eggs with truffles or cod brandade with mango are all on the menu. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the city.

In this former 17th century college, which also houses a charming hotel, people eat very well and at very affordable prices. The menu includes all the regional specialities such as Morteruelo Conquense (a typical Cuenca dish made from game)or the different variants for tasting cod (including an excellent garlic cod). The restaurant is pleasant, but if there is still room, you should prefer the small terrace which offers superb views of the cliffs (it is reserved primarily for hotel guests).

Asador Maria Morena is a pastel-coloured restaurant, which offers a few terraced tables and a panoramic view of the superb Cuenca valley. This is the promise of a good time at lunch or dinner in this beautiful establishment perched at the very top of the city. We particularly appreciated the bluefin tuna tataki as a starter, goat and fruit salad or rice with shrimp and garlic in the food section. The welcome can be a little fast in high season, but the price-quality ratio is quite good.
