The name of Aïn Draham would come from a source, called "Source of silver" and which served the first French military camp: it evokes the mineral residues which float by place and give it a silver color. Nevertheless, it is especially in winter that Ain Draham attracts people, when nature is even greener and snow covers the town. Its forest environment is highly appreciated by Tunisians, who come from Beja, Tabarka (26 km) or Jendouba to spend the day or a longer stay. Its forest is composed of cork oaks and Zean oaks.
