Museum featuring a fine collection of paintings from the Alföld school, of which István Nagy was the best-known representative.
The Nagy István Gallery is a showroom for the art collection of the Türr István Museum. Housed in the former classical residence of the Vojnich family, built around 1830, it has been home to an art academy run by painter Gyula Rudnay since 1947. Since 1985, the gallery has been named after Nagy István and permanently exhibits the works of this painter of Transylvanian origin, known for his landscapes of the Great Plain and the Baja region. The gallery also organizes temporary exhibitions from the Oltványi collection.
