Workshop marked by a remarkable sign with a gold sailboat, the most photographed in the city of Győr.
Here sits a remarkable sign depicting a golden sailing ship, the traditional emblem of old medieval grocery stores. Installed here since 1852, this sign traveled from Sopron to Bratislava and then Buda before becoming the symbol of a historic Győr grocery store. Not far from here, on this street and elsewhere in town, you'll be able to admire several wrought-iron signs, once used to indicate the trades performed. It's up to you to find them!
