Purists agree (and we agree): the Bergmann family has been making Hungary's best francia krémes (cream mille-feuilles) for generations. This family-run patisserie also offers warm pogácsa, tarts, cakes, ice creams and other mouth-watering homemade sweets. The main establishment, in Zsigmond utca, is reminiscent of an old Viennese café, with its wood panelling, white tablecloths and cosy atmosphere. A must for all gourmets.
