Impressive hexagonal watchtower in the lower town of Visegrád. Visits only in season.

Located in the lower town, this impressive hexagonal watchtower stands more than 30 meters high and its walls are more than 7 meters wide. It can only be visited in season. Damaged by the Ottoman occupiers, the tower was redesigned by the famous Frigyes Schulek, a prominent architect in Budapest in the late 19th century. The latter, lacking funds, eventually gave up. The operation of the tower is attached to the Royal Palace of Visegrád.
