At the Bellonte farm you can watch the milking of the cows and the making of the farmhouse Saint-Nectaire cheese. A film presents the life of the farm. The family has been living in Farges for eight generations. It is mainly a herd of Montbéliardes, more than 110 mountain cows with their calves that you will be able to stroke and, depending on the season, maybe even see a calving. From November to April, they are in the barn while in the summer you can find them in the pastures. You will be able to buy the cheese directly after tasting...

Belle expérience de la visite de cette exploitation, lors de notre passage, l'heure de la traite était très accessible (15h30) par rapport à celle des autres exploitations du coin, les enfants (et autres visiteurs bien sûr) sont les bienvenus, le déambulation est aisée et sans souci, on peut se balader facilement parmi les postes de traite et se faire expliquer la technique par le personnel très disponible malgré le travail à fournir. ici on a tout compris, du fait à ouvrir à la visite et faire connaitre la ferme! si vous avez encore un petit moment vers 17h30 on peut assister à la fabrication du fromage (St nectaire fermier) vraiment un très grand plus et cela avec le sourire et de très bonnes explications, la boutique de vente est très bien achalandée. Bon fléchage pour y accéder, parking attenant.
