DA PASQUALINO

World cuisine restaurant €€
4.1/5
26 reviews

Pasqualino has a certain idea of elegance that is expressed in the dining room of this traditional trattoria. The curtains on the windows are pleated, the tablecloths on the tables are lined, the floor tiles are checkered. The whole thing is a bit sad, reinforced by the bric-a-brac at the back of the room. Fortunately, the chef's talent saves the content of the plates. He mixes Sardinian and Ligurian influences and perpetuates the tradition of the cascà (couscous) brought back from Tunisia, while sublimating the products of the sea.

Outside the village, the restaurant at the Luci del Faro Hotel boasts a beautiful shady terrace with romantic atmosphere (flowers, sunset on the sea, candlelight dinner). Delicious local specialties with fish or fresh shellfish such as tuna, lobster, bottarga (dried mulet eggs) are offered. Fish grills are the specialty of the house. The wine list is also very beautiful. Perfect service and reasonable price.

This family-run delicatessen also doubles as a small, fresh canteen, delighting locals and tourists alike. Opened in 2016, Mama Fina is the association of two brothers with a passion for cooking, who pay tribute to their mama, named Fina. So it's a family-run canteen, preparing a dozen different dishes every day, from revisited couscous to Pilau (Casaletta's signature dish) to fresh pasta and fish off the boat that morning. The dishes can be bought to go or enjoyed on the pretty terrace.

NORD OVEST

Seafood Restaurant

Ship's bow, old iron tuna cans, a skeleton dressed as a pirate and a shark hanging from the ceiling... you'd think you were in a pirate lair! It's a tavern that Hemingway wouldn't have denied, and with good reason: here, the owner cooks, and you can enjoy his "variations on tuna". Not forgetting the tuna couscous, as Pietro reminds us! Heartfelt, generous cuisine, just like the staff. The terrace, overlooking the harbour, is another driftwood setting. Last but not least, this is where you'll find the best pizzas on the island. We love it!
