Barossa Valley

Founded in 1849, this is one of the Barossa Valley's oldest wineries. Family-owned for 6 generations, it's the only winery in Australia that makes artisanal wine barrels on site. You can drop in for a simple tasting, a tour of the cooperage or a full tour of the entire property, including the vineyards, fermentation workshops and the family's own cellar. The place is very pleasant, authentic and the staff attentive. Book tours in advance on the website.
