Wolf Blass, the founder, chose a modern semi-circular architecture for the reception of the public and the sale and tasting of wines. Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre or the Penfolds Barossa Valley Winery and Cellar Door may have a little more charm, but for the wine, you can judge the difference, in moderation. There are some very good reds, whites and sparkling wines.

Penfolds Barossa Valley Winery & Cellar Door, a leading wine producer, sells and tastes its wine and offers guided tours of its site. Also, the Distilling Company, in a cozy bar with copper stills, sells and tastes different kinds of gin. Remember to book at least 24 hours in advance.
