Torquay, with its beaches (Surf Beach, Jan Juc Beach, Bells Beach...) is one of the surfing capitals of the world. Just 21 km from Geelong and 96 km from Melbourne, it's also the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. In the main street, big names like Quicksilver and Rip Curl remind us that these brands were created here. For fun, stop off at The Esplanade and stroll along the beach.
