The best restaurants Alice Springs

Using local products as much as possible, Hanuman is the work of Jimmy Shu, a chef from Sri Lanka who arrived in Australia at the age of 21 with $50 in his pocket. He was the star of the Taste of the Territory series, where he showcased the culinary diversity of the NT. Those who liked it can also dine at Hanuman in Darwin, which is actually the first restaurant Jimmy Shu launched in 1992. The "Thai crispy whole fish" is delicious!

For those who are in the mood for a good pizza after a desert crossing, Casa Nostra is a traditional Italian restaurant, with red and white checkered tablecloths and paintings and pictures of the country on the walls. Very popular with the locals, it is often quite crowded. They don't serve alcohol, so feel free to buy your own (small IGA supermarket nearby). The vanilla slice, famous in the whole Red Centre, will punctuate your dinner, don't hesitate to order it at the beginning of the meal, there is not enough for everyone.
