These spectacular caves, located north of Rockhampton, are unique for their above-ground formation in a limestone ridge. Tours led by friendly and enthusiastic guides will take you to Cathedral Cave, a huge cave with acoustics equal to the Sydney Opera House. The caves are also home to 30,000 bats. Caving tours are available for the more courageous. Do not miss from December to January the fabulous visual effects inside these caves thanks to the sunlight.
