Read moreThe most famous writer in the Canary Islands, Benito Pérez Galdós (1843-1920), is the other great man from Gran Canaria. He too was given a museum in the house where he was born, in the Triana district, south of the city. He lived there until he was 19 years old, before moving to Madrid and enjoying success. You will discover his office, his personal belongings, as well as the pretty central courtyard. Please note that the visit is only in Spanish.
