Icod is directly connected to Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz: line 107 to Santa Cruz, passing through La Orotava and La Laguna; line 325 to either Puerto de la Cruz or Los Gigantes; line 363 to Buenavista, passing through Garachico. To get around the city, it is highly recommended to take a taxi or a rental car, due to the steepness of the terrain and the narrowness of the roads. This is especially true for getting to the Cueva del Viento, the local attraction.
