CARNIVAL HOUSE
House with a permanent exhibition of costumes from different years
Since early July 2017, the famous Santa Cruz carnival has had its home, installed in a large modern space of more than 1,000 square meters, which will require an investment of more than 1.1 million euros from the city hall. Its purpose: make this party better known to those who have not had the chance to attend. It houses a permanent exhibition with the costumes of the different years and a few elements giving the atmosphere such as the first poster, dated 1962 and works by the painter Juan Galarza or the first costume of queen sponsored by a company in 1979. And every year, new elements of the last party will be added. Other spaces: a multi-purpose room (conferences, activities, concerts, etc.) and a documentation and preservation center for this heritage.
