Havelský market takes place every day, along the length of this pretty street/place lined with arcades reminiscent of its long trading tradition. Of modest size, it has existed since 1232. Fruits, vegetables, a lot of delicatessen and cheese are still sold there, but the atmosphere is becoming more and more touristic. There are more and more souvenir stands. There are toys, paintings, gingerbread and, at Christmas, Christmas tree decorations.
